When director Paola Bernardini opens her grandparents' cellar, she discovers hundreds of hidden paintings and intimate diaries of her forgotten great-uncle, revealing the artistic life of a reclusive museum director who created bold contemporary art behind closed doors, living as an invisible outsider in his own community of Barletta.
